April has spent several years working in HE supporting both the development of applications for research grants and the management of research projects that have been funded by UKRI. Prior to joining Ulster University she worked as a research development officer for the Rights Lab Research Beacon at the University of Nottingham. Having formally trained as a teacher April firmly believes in the importance of education as a tool for positive change and is delighted to be supporting this important network.
April has a BA in French and Italian from the University of Reading, a PGCE in Modern Languages from the University of Leicester and an MA by Research in French Studies from the University of Nottingham.
