Fariza Tolesh

Fariza Tolesh is an interdisciplinary scholar who is keen on mixed methods research. Her two bachelor degrees were in Geography and Economics, and she did her master degree in Demography at Charles University in Prague. Fariza Tolesh obtained her PhD in Education from Nazarbayev University. Her dissertation was a mixed methods research on experiences of foreign-educated Kazakhstani graduates in the local labour market. Fariza Tolesh as an Associate Professor at Astana IT University

This research aims to investigate the influence of different language policies and reforms on educational and the economic situation of minority groups, specifically of Uzbek groups in Kazakhstan since gaining independence.
