Yasir is a PhD student at the Graduate School of Education (GSE), Nazarbayev University. He has been serving as a lecturer at the Department of English, Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS) since 2016. He holds an MS degree in Language Policy and Planning from (BUITEMS). He has also taught at the Department of Asian Languages & Cultures, University of Wisconsin-Madison, as a Fulbright scholar. His areas of interests are language policy & planning (LPP) and curriculum & instruction.
